“I believe that health and wellbeing benefit from both novel and traditional perspectives of medicine. It does not have to be one versus the other.”

I transitioned from being a competitive athlete to a professional skating coach while completing my Specialized Honours in Kinesiology & Health Science. I am currently an NCCP Level 1 Skating Coach with over 12 years of international skating experience.

“I believe that health and wellbeing benefit from both novel and traditional perspectives of medicine. It does not have to be one versus the other. It is about empowering you with a holistic view of your brain health and working to create a plan that makes sense for your life.”

My passion for post-concussion care began when I earned a spot on the sports medicine shift in my internship year during my studies at CCNM, leading me to complete cranial sacral therapy training. I am a certified sports nutritionist with ISSN, which I apply in my work with athletes and those struggling with chronic pain or post-concussion syndrome.

My areas of interest include:

  • Brain resiliency
  • Concussion prevention and recovery
  • Sports nutrition for the female athlete
  • Optimizing Athletic performance, especially for female athletes
  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Mind-Body connection

Hi, everyone!

I am Brigitta, and I have a passion for building brain resiliency, managing post-concussion care, and optimizing female athletic performance.

I am a nationally certified health coach. I provide motivation and accountability while you set goals and conquer through them! I work with you to dial in your sports nutrition and optimize your sleep for recovery, immune support, and injury prevention. We’ll bolster your brain health and mindset for training and competing. For female athletes I will teach you how to work with your monthly cycle, rather than against it, to go from dreading that time of the month to optimizing your performance.

Since graduating from a paramedic program in 2011, I have worked in emergency medical services as a primary care paramedic for close to a decade. From this experience, I gained insight into the conventional model of patient care.  I am grateful to bear witness to lives being saved before my eyes and greatly appreciate the continued advances in both Prehospital and Emergency Medicine. However, I quickly saw that the protocol-based, symptom relief method of medicine did little to address the individual root causes of disease, especially for post-concussion care.

Please note: Brigitta is a registered Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta but does not offer Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario or at Epione Health.
